After a 13 hour car drive we finally arrived to our first destination – Bremen, Germany. We only stayed for a night since we had to get moving towards The Netherlands the following day. The only thing I had the time for in Bremen was to go for a 20 minute walk with my mother to look around the outskirts of the town. So the next day early in the morning we were on our way to Rotterdam. That drive only took about 4 hours, which was a great decrease of time compared to the previous day.
My first reaction of the town was the low level of energy. It was lacking people and night life. However, I remember the citizens homes to be very modern and special. The architecture of the houses were different, with each home being unique. Not exactly your ordinary square-like buildings.
