4 Hours in Oslo

Posted In: Travel

Being the curious (or stupid) person I am, I figured it would be a fun idea to take the train to Oslo for a day with my friend. The problem was by taking the earliest train in the morning and the latest train back home at night, it would leave us a 4 hour time span to explore the city. However we decided to do it, and it was definitely worth it.

Early in the morning we had a 5 hour long train ride ahead of us, with absolutely no clue what we would find in this city (or country) we had never visited before. Traveling went very smoothly, and along the way we did some research about sightseeing spots, for preparation. We tried to make somewhat of a plan due to the short visiting time, and I think we succeeded quite well.

I mentally prepared myself to not being able to comprehend anything that was said in Norwegian, but I was surprised to mostly hear Swedish-like phrases. Perhaps disappointed too, since I really wanted the feeling of being abroad.
