Some shots I have taken in Stockholm with both my iPhone 6S and Sony a6000 from my visits. Stockholm is one of my all time favorite cities. It just feels like home, even though I live an hour away. I come out here as often as a can, usually because for spontaneous reasons, but also for certain events that I feel interested in watching or participating in.
What I’ve learned in my 16 years of living is to pay attention to details. It has now sort of become my motto. I mean, without good details, how is the whole product able to be any good? For example if I did not find these gorgeous details in this city, who knows if I would feel the same about it? Maybe I would just find it being a bunch of old and grey streets. The details in things you see are the exciting parts. Now, I’m not always talking about art on the walls in a store, this could also be a huge part of ones social life. Small actions with meaning are the most valuable. It’s the same with art, the product itself is not often very large but it means something, represents something.
I am not trying to say that these photos I’ve taken all represent something meaningful. Sometimes I just like to take pictures of what I think looks pretty. But I really do encourage you all to look around you, and notice the beauty that exists all around you.
