We didn’t get to see much of our rented apartment on the countryside of France because of the un-planned late arrival, but we still got to see some pretty sights when being at the garden of Claude Monet in Giverny. We hadn’t been exposed to such mediterranean weather in a long time, so the heat came at us like a huge slap in the face. It felt like we had to buy new bottles of water every 5 seconds. If you are really into art and nature, this is the perfect place with the great diversity of plant life mixed with tons of paintings, not only from Claude Monet but also the work of other artists were placed throughout the area. You could also take a peek into the home of Claude Monet where the walls were covered in art the rooms were filled with bright colored furniture.
