In 2015 I went to London with some of my family members. It was the first time I visited the city (and country) and packing for our departure back home to Sweden, I knew I didn’t want to leave. But, we’ll save my next visit to this gorgeous city for some other time.
I had a week long break from school, and so had my cousin that joined our trip. So we flew out to London, and then we had one mission and one mission only: to find our apartment. We had rented one in Waterloo, and we wandered around for a looong time before we eventually found it. We stayed at the top floor, with a small terrass and a wonderful view.
We did the obvious sightseeing, London Eye, Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street etc. We got to do a ton of shopping too, which was very exciting. I remember walking into the Victoria’s Secret store with my cousin and we totally freaked out, because the stores back home only feel like a small fraction in size, compared to the store in London.
My cousin and I decided one night to go to the closest store, buy a ton of foreign candy and try it all. I think we filmed it, but I sadly do not know if the footage still exists. It’s hard to look back at what I did two years ago and try to remember it all. What I know for sure though is that we had a lovely time, and we miss it lots.
